How Much Does Artificial Turf Cost When Compared To Real Grass?

That's a great question to ask and the cost between the two can really vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and also the particular synthetic turf product you choose.  There are many different variations of artificial turf and it comes with different backing materials, different thicknesses, and even different textures.

A typical installation of artificial grass might be 3-5 times the cost as a traditional lawn using sod or seed but the extra cost is often mitigated by the fact that you don't need to install expensive irrigation systems, you won't ever need to mow the lawn or trim the edges, and it's going to always be a vibrant lush green color without any expensive fertilizers or feeding programs.

Infill: Infill is a granular material, such as sand, rubber, or a combination of both, spread over the artificial turf and brushed into the fibers. The infill adds weight to the turf, helping to hold it in place, while also providing support to the grass fibers and improving the turf's overall performance and appearance. The infill also helps to anchor the turf and keeps the blades upright.

Edging and borders: Installing edging or borders around the turf's perimeter can also help hold it in place. Edging materials can include metal or plastic edging, bricks, pavers, or landscape timbers. These materials create a barrier that prevents the turf from moving and keeps it neatly contained.

Very impressed with this company from start to finish! I called for a mulch quote and Tyler was so nice over the phone. He provided an estimate within minutes (I contacted a few other companies for quotes and they didn’t even return my call or said they would come out and give an estimate but never showed up) so Superb Landscape stood out immediately. I loved how they utilized text messaging so I could easily communicate with them. The crew showed up right on time to work. I have a few beds packed full of perennials and Superb mulched the beds beautifully, making sure to get around each plant. They took great care around my flowers and shrubs. We had an amazing experience with Tyler and this company. We had a tree fall from our yard into our neighbors yard. We got a quote from another company that said they could not be out for 4 more days. Mind you this tree was blocking the neighbors driveway. I got in touch with this company and they had it done the next day. Plus they charged me 100 dollars less than the other company quoted us for. Tyler was super friendly and professional. I would recommend him for any type of tree removal or lawn care.
